The Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Karachi participates in “My Karachi: Oasis of Harmony” exhibition

The Consulate General of Russia in Karachi took part in the 14th International Exhibition “My Karachi: Oasis of Harmony” held at Karachi Expo Center from April 7 till April 9 under the aegis of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI).

A stall in the diplomatic section of the Exhibition was allotted to the Russian Consular mission in Karachi.

The Consulate General presented a series of magazines and brochures about the Russian economy, trade, policy and diplomacy, which were distributed among the visitors of the exhibition who evinced a special interest in the guide “Starting a Business in the Russian Federation”.

The representatives of the Russian Consular mission at the stall briefed visitors on the dynamics and prospects of Russia-Pakistan trade as well as special scholarship programs and visa requirements to visit the Russian Federation.

Mr. Oleg N. Avdeev, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Karachi, took part in the exhibition as a Guest of Honor and was presented a shield by Mr. Shamim Ahmed Firpo, President, KCCI.
