On September 20, the list of the countries, the citizens of which are eligible to apply for the humanitarian support in conformity with the Presidential Order № 702 dated August 19, 2024, was officially published.
According to the Governmental Decree № 2560-p dated September 17, 2024, Pakistan IS NOT INCLUDED in this list.

On September 16 a ceremony was organized in Karachi Boat Club in honour of the KBC Team that took part in Vladivostok Regatta on September 3-6.
The Consul General of the Russian Federation in Karachi Mr. Andrey Fedorov congratulated the rowers, coaching staff and the KBC executives by presenting them commemorative medals and a traditional Russian souvenir.

On August 14 the diplomats and employees of the Consulate General of Russia in Karachi took part in the traditional Independence Day Shooting Competition among the members of the local consular corps organized by the Karachi Police Special Security Unit.
This time the Russian Consulate was victorius in two categories. The Consul of the Consulate General Mr. Alexander Petrov won an individual award as the best shooter. While the Consul General of Russia in Karachi Mr. Andrey Fedorov received a golden medal in the competition among the heads of the consular missions.
As for the team competition, Russian Consulate won a second place.

Vladimir Putin sent greetings to President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif on the country’s national holiday, Independence Day.

On the occasion of Pakistan Independence Day congratulatory articles by the Consul General of the Russian Federation Mr. Andrey Fedorov were published in Pakistan Observer and The News Lark newspapers.

The message by the head of the Russian Mission in Karachi was also aired on SAMAA News TV Channel.
